Postcards from the road.

Have you always wanted a postcard from Paris? A message from Munich? Maybe even a stamp from Syria?

If you’re like me you probably enjoy receiving a lovely handwritten postcard from friends and family from their travels near and far, giving a brief glimpse into their adventures. I’d like to extend the same idea to supporters of The Ride Round.

The plan is simple. Give a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support through my justigiving page then send me an e-mail with the subject “Postcard please.” Tell me your name and address and I’ll send you a postcard giving you an insight into the daily life of my trip. Perhaps you last visited Vienna in 1970 and wonder what a sweaty cyclist makes of the city in 2011? Honeymooned in Hungary and want a solo cyclist’s take on the city? Maybe you just wonder what a stamp from Sofia looks like? Even if you’re just curious and want a lucky dip from wherever I am at the time you’ll receive a postcard from me in the post.

Please note that all of the money you donate goes directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, not a penny subsidises the costs of postcards or stamps.
